#travels: IN PARIS… (When you hate the city you love) || Whoever follows me or knows me a little has the knowledge I’m obsessed with Paris, I was already before visiting for the first time. It’s my favorite city, and the city of my dreams. Or it was.
I had never been to Paris in high season. I found totally frightening and suffocating when I returned last Monday. It was a lot but really hot, and too many people on the streets or anywhere. I went to Paris early in the morning (because “Paris is always a good idea” and because I live 2 hours TGV) with only my son to distract me a bit of life, routine and try to get some inspiration for the future because it was all we needed – and still need. Everything went wrong. ALL. It’s a long and frustrating history that still leaves me totally upset.
From this experience I obtain two things: no longer know if I want to live one day in Paris. I was 50/50 thoughts, but I think the dream fell. And I am increasingly disappointed with people. Close people I thought I knew well, and professional people, who are very irresponsible or totally unaware.
After a long day walking, we found a room to sleep almost on the evening, and then we try to enjoy a bit of the city. To attempt. Still we managed to drop a few smiles, but the fatigue was greater than all the rest.
I wore this shirt again in a more casual version and more cool, with my favorite striped sweater of all time! What is your favorite look? This or this?
