#Lifestyle: HOSTELS ARE TRENDY || For many of us, the Summer vacations are over, and we are back in the real World, leaving the sand and bikini life behind until next year. But for others, relaxation time is just getting started. Many work during the peak of Summer, and prefer a more mild weather to spend their vacations. If you are starting just now to chose your perfect location, hotel, beach, camping site, resort, this is for you.
To plan the perfect travel vacations, there are many things to have in consideration. One of the most important ones, is without a doubt the place where you are going to sleep, to eat your meals, have a shower, …
Many opt for a Hotel, but in recent years, a trend is getting bigger and bigger. Travelers are choosing to leave the Hotel and go for an Hostel. Some of you might say: “Oh, but Hotels don´t have enough comfort, you have to share the room, the shower, they are small,” … Not quite.
The Hostel trend is growing, and things have changed for the best. They are not just a place for students or short-term workers.
Many hostels are in prestigious locations, in the center of major cities around the world, they have unique designs that attract different people. Many have clubs, bars, open areas, pools, meditation spaces, private rooms and bathrooms, and all this for an affordable price.
Websites like the hostelworld.com and hostel.com, are the perfect websites online to look for the perfect Hostel for you.
It is not the first time I travel and stay in an Hostel. The last time I travel to Lisbon I stayed in the Hub Lisbon Patio Hostel (photos in the gallery below). The design is modern and simple, with a room with a giant Foosball table, an outside patio with a net that you can lay on and enjoy the sky. The rooms are super comfortable, and cosy.
Hostels tend to have a very young staff that gives a lot of positive vibration to the location. The Hub Lisbon Patio, was no exception. Smiles, laughter, and cocktails everywhere. That is what you should expect from this experience: Fun, fun, fun!
If you are planning vacation time without breaking a budget, put Hostel on the list. And you can thank me later for telling you that Hostels are trendy…
