#Models: DAVID GANDY THE ICON OF LIGHT BLUE || David Gandy leads advertising campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. The British model achieved success after winning a television contest in 2001, which included a contract with Select Model Management in London. David was 21 years old, when his name was released for some of the best global brands, and he never stopped.
During the early years of his career, Gandy ran campaigns for Zara, Gant, Hugo Boss, Russell & Bromley, H&M, Carolina Herrera, Massimo Dutti, among many others.

But it was in 2006, that he captured the attention of the duo Dolce & Gabbana, for his muscular body and penetrating eyes, becoming the brand ambassador. In 2007 the first Light & Blue perfume campaign was launched, and its popularity and name recognition has increased since then.

The campaign filmed in Capri by photographer Mario Testino was a success. It is impossible to forget the hype, both on TV and everywhere. We are sure that no one will forget it in the next decades!

The collaboration between David and Dolce & Gabbana has lasted for a decade, and the British model has already filmed four campaigns as the face of Light Blue, becoming a true icon.

And now the question is: Can you imagine another face (and body) for the Light & Blue perfume? We bet not!
